Location​

The Erdvark Trail is nestled in the Nuweveld Mountains of the Great Karoo, near Beaufort West, South Africa.  It lies on Rooiheuwel Guest Farm, which spans the border between the Western and Northern Cape provinces.

Interesting facts​

The trail is named after the aardvark (Erdkvark in Afrikaans), a nocturnal mammal known for its digging abilities and unique appearance, reflecting the Karoo’s unique ecosystem.
